RE: 1997 F53 Loss of Power Steering/Brakes
Haven't heard this one before Roger. I just have the power steering whine. I'll be watching to see what the resonses are.
Good luck.
RE: Anaheim Rally April 17-19 2009
Tom, glad Rindy allowed you to get another TOOL. From what I have seen, you have been getting good advice on where to find the miters, and some suggestions on what you can do with it.... You do know they have a right and left handed saw, hope you got the right one.
Hope everyone is enjoying the great weather we are having.
RE: Anaheim Rally April 17-19 2009
Did it, Got it, and :-) now. Now for the rebate. Hi gang, hope everyone is enjoying the SUPER weather we are having. Mac, Mac, Mac, Hope you spent your $$$ on American made goodies. I know it's hard. Hmmmmmm Dewight, not sure, Tom you hang in there guy, sooner or later Rindy will trust you with power tools. Just want to thank ALL the MAJOR players for the good time at the Rally. The same site for me next year will work out just fine for me, close to the jogging trail. Wish I bought stock in OIL years ago.

RE: Anaheim Rally April 4 - 6, 2008
Hey Tom, have you got the number cards? You know, the ones we use as we watch people set their rigs up and then give them a score when they are done? Think we can start with lhenry with Dave's schedule. See ya Thursday afternoon Mac.
RE: Anaheim Rally April 4 - 6, 2008
Sarah, the tents for the servants. Dave, Tom and I are tied for the top of the list, quick picking on the NEWBIES. 1/2 gal of Vodka, olives, hmmmmmm. I still have my original RV.NET sign and it is still in good shape. And yes TOM, I do display it. It's getting close Gang, need this long weekend to relax.
RE: Anaheim Rally April 4 - 6, 2008
GREAT ONE!!!!!! Thanks for the laugh, I can see the look on the rangers face as he is trying to share with you that your a week early. I don't ever think I knew someone who wanted to camp so bad with THIS group. All I can say is
WELCOME to the group Jim and Sherri. You will fit right in.
Watch out for the guy who wears the drivers hat, he escaped about a year ago. He keeps on the move so they won't catch him and put him back. Now all of you know why they are always camping. The hat is a disguise, Sorry Tom, someone had to tell the group.
Hope all of you enjoyed the beautiful weekend.
RE: Anaheim Rally April 4 - 6, 2008
Hmmmmmmm let's see
guys you let sit in your lap, and let them hug you, while yer wife watched!!!
Then ya hide that 8 foot flamingo from yer wife in the bay of yer RV, while driving!! Then ya go and have a blue light special!! I just don't understand. At least Tom has tools and he gets ta play with them!!
One couple thinks they have lounge on TOP of their RV, yea right!! Then there's the Marine who spells his name "ED", with 3 spaces, E_D, hummm. Then there is this guy that has a Shamu whale as a pet and he keeps it in his pants!!! And the camper that thinks his motorcycle makes margaritas, HA!! Then the guy who thinks he is Al Fresco?? Almost forgot, then there is this person that came to the RV gathering, IN A BOAT
Don't beleive anything you read. The only normal person is me. Remember I have the chainsaw and the only thing I can do is plot....
You really have to watch out for that guy who wears PINK hair and makes fun of other people, HE is the REAL troublemaker..
Then there is the divorce attorney who drives their 40 foot motorhome like a race car. Don't worry, you know if you are stuck in front of her. You might want to be wary of the lady who offers 'buttery nipples' at camp outs
Hell, I'm the Marine and I'm scared of this group. Just keep your door locked at night, that Pink thing has a problem sleep walking.
Welcome to the crew Robert/Kathy. You'll have fun with the strange people. See ya there.
RE: Anaheim Rally April 4 - 6, 2008
What do you mean HAD. I still see tears in his eyes when when he sees PINK.
Tom I was told once that there is a method to purchasing new tools. When ever you start a new project, there is always a new tool(s) you need to help you do it correctly any you just factor that in with the project cost. If something goes on sale in between projects, you need it now while it is on sale to save money on the next project. It works, I have all these tools and nothing to do now because the projects are finished. Hmmmmmm, not so, just remembered I need to redo the deck railing, back patio and the front room. Gotta go, need to see what tools I need.
Don't forget to set the clock AHEAD tomorrow night gang.
RE: Anaheim Rally April 4 - 6, 2008
I'm glad most of you use the "D" for fuel, I won't have to watch my tanks like the rest of you.
Dennis congrats, glad your coming, we'll go easy.
Rindy, heard you locked the power tools up, good girl, Tom is safe, but you might've collected the insurance $ if he used any of them.
Chuck, glad to see your on line. Give Cathy a hug for me.
Everyone notice Mac's stealth mode in his profile? You never know when he's on line. Hmmmmmmmmm
Getting close gang. Don't forget to set your clocks ahead Saturday
RE: Anaheim Rally April 4 - 6, 2008
I've read about three different versions on this rebate. The last one one NPR, a IRS guy said that we wouldn't be taxed on this so enjoy. Don't TRUST any of those sleeze balls in DC.
Tom, good for you taking care of Rindy, we know she treats you like a KING all the time. I mean heck you even have that crown to drive the bus, what more can a guy ask for?
Planning a trip to Portland/Seattle in June/July. (last time for this trip was about 17 years ago) Guest-a-ment around $1600.00 for fuel. Haven't worked on the camp grounds yet. Working both ends, either the rig or car. Not much sight seeing on the way up or back, will visit some family/friend though, but in Portland will spend about 5 days, around two in Seattle. So will need to work the gas/hotel thing for the car. It will be interesting to see what the guest-a-ment will be between them. 45 gallons = $150.00 yesterday, that was a top off. Oh well, just money.
Maybe we can use Mac's BLUE light special to make some extra money at the rally.
Dennis, glad to see you are going to make it.
Everyone have a good week. It's getting closer.
RE: Electric powered door step problem
I go with the wire. It's a DC motor and the + - is what controls the motor. Reverse the wires and it should work fine.
RE: Anaheim Rally April 4 - 6, 2008
Yo Tom, Sorry, I thought that maybe Rindy allowed you to purchase some tools since YOU did all that yard work last year.
Maybe we should start a RV Drivers union. I'm sure there are more DRIVERS like you and me out there. Let's make a list of things we would drive for. I'll start, how about a back/shoulder massage.
It's getting close for this rally. Are you going to be at the beach this week? If so what day are you going to be there?
Another ?, is anyone else having a problem connecting to this site?
RE: Anaheim Rally April 4 - 6, 2008
OK Mac, how come you don't have the online/offline button activiated?
You mean Rindy is going to let Tom play with some power tools??? She is getting easy on him.
Weather here just got COLD. Looks like we might get a little rain like they predicted. Just as long as it clears up for the beach trip next weekend.
Everyone have a good weekend.
RE: Anaheim Rally April 4 - 6, 2008
Hey Chuck, did you find that envelope with that BIG check in for me? Just asking since I haven't receive it yet.
.
.
.
.
Thought I would ask this before some other wise guy did.
Hope everyone has a nice dry weekend.
RE: Anaheim Rally April 4 - 6, 2008
Dwight, Dwight, don't pick on the Dave and his after shave, it's much better now it used to be a little fishy. Glad to see that Mac is still his sensitive self and Tom like me just listens to the boss. Looks like we are going to have a mini rally on Thursday night, just need to watch out for those BIG kitty kats and their little coyote buddies. Everyone have a nice weekend.
